Camp Wandawega (also known as amazing haven of all things cool) is hidden away on the outskirts of a quiet town named Elkhorn in the middle of Wisconsin. If you didn’t know it was there, you certainly wouldn’t stumble upon it. It has an immense history dating back to 1925 where it was a speakeasy and from there, it’s seen a few lifetimes. When I found out this was the venue of Jen and Will’s wedding, I got pretty pumped. If you’re even remotely into aesthetically pleasing surroundings, this place will blow your mind. Every single detail is perfect, from the night stands in the bunk rooms to the supplies in the kitchen cabinets. It’s all been sourced by hand from around the country and it makes for a heck of time photographing. Wes Anderson himself would call this place pure inspiration and you may spot some images I took with him in mind..
Add to this Jen and Will, two very in-love people and their entourage of a wedding party, family and friends and you have what was Jen and Will’s wedding day perfection. I had SO much fun with this crew. Scroll on!
