This is just one part of a two-part celebration. When Gabbie and Ross decided to marry, they did so with major partying in mind, not only having a traditional Kerala ceremony in honour of Gabbie’s heritage, but holding a second lakeside wedding the following day. If organising one isn’t enough, try two, with not a single person on the property looking stressed out or frazzled. This is such a wonderful part of a wedding weekend. Watching as the huge gathering of friends and family get together to pitch in and make things run smoothly. I’d arrived from Minneapolis for the weekend, and when I drove down towards the lake, found myself in total awe of my surroundings. Pine trees stood like enormous soldiers standing guard over the altar, and delicate details were spotted around the grounds. This was a truly beautiful mix of cultures and one weekend that reminded everyone preset, what true love was all about.
